Be careful: By the mouth, between the islands, exists a very strong current!
The beach lies in the heart of the salt marsh and has a particular charm.
In Olhão, coming from the N125, you drive toward east. Roughly 1,5 km behind the last roundabout in town you turn right (direction Ald. a Marim) and remain on this road for approx. 1 km. There is an unorganised parking area and no infrastructure.
The here prevailing tranquility is only disturbed by the railway line passing by in the vicinity.
The beach is located at the eastern end of the Ilha da Armona and can be reached by boat from Fuseta (well signposted from the N125 on), where you find good parking facilities.
Restaurants and sanitary facilities are available.
People swimming and bathing are supervised by lifeguards.

Fuseta is signposted already on the N125 and parking places are available at the harbour (partly for a fee). The beach lies between the Ilha da Armona and the mainland, and it can be reached from the town within walking distance (200 m).
There are diverse restaurants, cafés, snackbars and sanitary facilities. People swimming and bathing are supervised by lifeguards.
The beach has an access for people with disabilities.
