São Marcos da Serra (about 1,300 inhabitants) is a village and a community in the county of Silves. Near the country road IC1 and the highway A2 and situated in the North of the Algarve, life proceeds quietly and everything is still very native.

TIP:
The N267 towards Monchique is a street that has been finished only a few years ago and that runs through the mountains with many viewpoints.
