Museu Municipal de Arqueologia de Silves
In a narrow backstreet, only about 100 m from the municipal building, you find the well signposted museum.
The excavations and historic finds within the county of Silves are shown. One room is reserved for changing expositions.
Legacies from over 5,000 years are exposed and described (at the time in Portuguese and in English).
Also finds from the Bronze Age, Iron Age and the Roman occupation are shown.
