The church is located in the pedestrian zone directly on the Praça do Marquês de Pombal, the central square of the city.

The building was constructed from the late 70s to the early 80s of the 18th century.
Inside you will find a magnificent altar as well as remarkable pictures of Maria and St. Antonius.
The church can only be visited during mass times.
