Gi\u00f5es est un village et une municipalit\u00e9 (environ 260 habitants) du district d’Alcoutim.<\/span><\/p>\n

Coordonn\u00e9es: 37 \u00b0 28’26.0 “N 7 \u00b0 41’38.0” O<\/span><\/p>\n

Le village est situ\u00e9 sur les routes M507 et M507-1, \u00e0 environ 2 km au nord de la N124 et \u00e0 2,5 km devant l’<\/span>Alentejo.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Au-del\u00e0 de la rue principale, c’est tr\u00e8s calme. Les ruelles sont \u00e9troites et sinueuses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Construite en 1554 sur les ruines de la chapelle Saint-Domingos, l’\u00e9glise a \u00e9t\u00e9 achev\u00e9e en 1565. Au cours des si\u00e8cles suivants, le clocher fut progressivement b\u00e2ti et l’int\u00e9rieur de l’\u00e9glise d\u00e9cor\u00e9 de retables.<\/span><\/p>\n

Il vaut la peine de voir le plafond en bois et l’image du plafond au-dessus de l’autel ainsi que l’autel lui-m\u00eame.<\/span><\/p>\n
