Parking facilities (partly for a fee) can be found sufficiently. An organised parking area (for a fee) is in close vicinity. On the beach you can go swimming or watch the fishermen doing their daily work. Numerous restaurants, caf\u00e9s, bistros, snackbars, shops and sanitary facilities are nearby. From the parking area go wooden gangplanks with stairs over the dunes to the beach of roughly 2,000 m length. Alternatively, one can park in the east of Arma\u00e7\u00e3o de P<\/span><span class=\"wsw-01\">\u00ea<\/span><span class=\"wsw-01\">ra (about 600 m). The mouth of the river Ribeira de Alcantarilha is then to be crossed. This is not easy on a high water level (high tide). The beach passes in the east into the Praia dos Salgados.
