The place is well signposted and the beach is located near the resort Vila Castelo. Close to the beach are parking places. As parking place the area in front of the Praia da Angrinha is recommendable, since the street is very narrow and often jammed by buses. From there it is a footpath of 250 m. The beach lies by the mouth of the Rio Arade. You have a magnificent view over the port entrance. Above the beach is a parking area and a restaurant. You have here a terrific view onto the city of Portim\u00e3o and the harbour. A stairway ending at the jetty, which separates the Atlantic and the Rio Arade, goes down to the beach. Follow the signposting and after about 100 m you will find a small organised parking area from which a wooden stairway goes down to the beach. Above the beach is a small parking area (further parking facilities are at the Monte Carvoeiro about 100 m away). From here a stairway of stone goes down to the small and beautiful beach. At the parking area and in the near surroundings are restaurants and sanitary facilities.
