Odeceixe is a small town and a community with around 1,000 inhabitants in the northwest of the Algarve. It is situated by the river Ribeira de Seixe which represents the natural border to the Alentejo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A windmill being still in working order sits upon a hill and can be seen for miles around.<\/span><\/p>\n

The streets of the small town are winding and partly quite narrow. The access with trailer and big caravans is impossible and prohibited.<\/span><\/p>\n

The windmill can be visited. You can view the town and the landscape from there right up to the Atlantic and the Alentejo.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nThe church appears unimposing from the outside, in the inside it surprises with an arch of triumph and a nice choir.<\/span><\/p>\n
