The museum\u00a0 shows clothing and life style of the region in the beginning of the 20th century.

Evening wear as well as workwear is here exposed. One small part shows pictures and models of soldiers in uniform.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In peak periods far more than 50 % of the world\u00a0 production of cork came from Portugal. S\u00e3o Br\u00e1s was for a very long period of time an important place for the production and the distribution.
