The Quinta do Lago Resort belongs to the community Almancil in the county of Loul\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n

Coordinates: 37\u00b003’40.9″N 8\u00b001’44.4″W<\/span><\/p>\n

The construction of the luxury resort was started at the beginning of the years 1970ies on a manor (Portuguese: quinta) of 550 ha. In 1974 the bridge to the beach as well as the first houses were completed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the year 1976 the “Portuguese Open” (golf) took place for the first time in Quinta do Lago.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

The site disposes of 3 18-holes golf courses.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the 70ies one of the first buildings was this wooden bridge. It runs over a lagoon to the beach “Praia da Quinta do Lago”.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the resort are parking places with sunshades at disposition. The original manor (Portuguese: quinta) was converted into a restaurant.<\/span><\/p>\n

The whole facility is very neat, and throughout the year you will find flowers in many different colours.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
